I guess I jumped into it expecting this whole world on healers. You eventually find this out, but not until more than half of the book. I would have liked a little more on why Remy has this power to heal, and how. Even though there was plenty of healing going on, there were a lot of family issues and fun high school times. I enjoyed it, but I felt like I was reading more a YA contemporary rather than a fantasy/paranormal story. Because Remy has the power to make Protectors human again, and when they find out, they’ll becoming for her-if Asher doesn’t kill her first. ![]() Falling in love is against the rules between these two enemies. ![]() Only by killing a Healer can a Protector recover their human senses.
